Christmas season means one thing to me.  Cheesey Hallmark Christmas Movies!!!! I absolutely love Christmas movies when they are completely predictable and very happy in the end.  This is hardly surprising since I love Romance Novels.   My daughter likes to watch them with me.  My husband likes that I enjoy it so much and my son tolerates the whole thing.  But we have come up with a way to make the whole thing fun for everyone. The Cheesey Christmas movie Chocolate game

Last year I came across a version of this game that was for drinking. Now as someone who doesn’t drink I had to come up with a different way of playing.   Enter my husband’s coompany christmas gifts. You see every year my husband gets loads of gifts from company vendors. He usually gives them away to friends or coworkers, but he received one he knew he needed to bring home to me.  A 4 pound box of See’s chocolate candies. It was possibly the largest box I had ever seen of paper-cupped candies.

I immediately told him we were playing the drinking game with chocolate.  We cued up my Netflix and watched “Christmas Prince”

We had so much fun playing.  We were laughing and finding way too many cliche Christmas moments.  And we were sick to our stomachs in about 45 minutes. We also realized some things that appeared too many times for a chocolate version.  Thus this year I made my own version for my kids to play with me.

When you play I recommend using small candies like M&Ms or Andes Mints or if you prefer candies gummy Santas is a good idea.  YOU WILL be eating A LOT of chocolate.

If you have trouble finding movies to watch you can just tune into the Hallmark Channel or check out this list of Cheesey Christmas movies on Netflix.  But a few of my favorites are
