I am Annette, code name Origami Foodie.

I joined Fave Mom and her crew after being social media maven for My Sister In Law’s Kitchen with–you guessed it– my sister in law.   When she moved on to being a super-amazing nurse, I didn’t leave blogging behind.   I share my own brand of foodie here, an origami foodie.  Paper is in our lives everyday and origami crafts it into more than a recyclable.  Everyone can make it.  Anyone can enjoy it.  Tessellations, kid projects, gifts, decorations, modular and extreme, paper becomes so much more with a few folds.

I don't crush on origami alone...

I am an empty nester in the Salt Lake City suburbs with my hunting-obsessed husband.    I graduated from Brigham Young University.  Spent many years as full-time tactical support for my family. Helped found Channing Hall Charter School.  Spent a few years as a Pinterest marketing specialist, and many years as the secretary to local charter school Entheos Academy.  Most of my life is about serving God in any way I can to thank Him.   I practice yoga and fight winter blues by XC skiing, drinking hot chocolate and reading proper romance novels.
