Beauty and the Beast first released in 1991 is an animated musical romantic film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation,and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
This “Tale as old as time” tells the story of a country girl, Belle, her love for books, her desire to see more than the provincial life she is now living with her father the inventor.
The 30th Disney animated feature film is a tale of fantasy. Beauty and the Beast focuses on the relationship between the Beast, a prince who is magically transformed into a monster as punishment for his arrogance, and Belle, a beautiful young woman The Beast hides away in his castle.
To become a prince again, Beast must win Belle’s love in return, otherwise he remains a monster forever.
As the tale goes, Belle falls in love with the Beast , seeing through him and his gracious, kind heart. The Beast also finds it in his heart to let his guard down, leave his arrogance behind and put love first. In the end,the Beast is transformed back into a Prince and he and Belle “live happily ever after.”
Twenty six years later the film takes on a new form in a live action motion picture. The storyline is true to its original plot.
The adventurous journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her being scared,she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and decides to look farther beyond the Beast’s hideous looks and realize the kind heart and soul of the true prince that hides within the Beast……..

I’m looking forward to one of my all time favorite Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures masterpiece,reimagined to include Emma Watson as “Belle”and Dan Stevens as “The Beast.”
I’m certain these accomplished actors will bring life into the storyline and have us all leaving the theater feeling that we need just look a bit further into oneself and others to find true beauty and love. A film about fantasy and romance through the eyes of magic and storytelling , this is a tale I’m most excited to view on March 17,2017.
