For those of you that follow along with my Instagram, you know that I’ve recently began training for a 5k in hopes to one day do a 10k. My first real 5k as a newbie runner will be this weekend at the Ugly Sweater 5k at National Harbor near DC. As a newbie runner I wish that someone would have told me some of the must have items before starting. Here are some great gifts for the newbie runner in your life.

ONE WORD! Chaffing! It doesn’t feel good at all for men and it doesn’t feel good for us ladies either. QUALITY, WICKING CONTROL tights or shorts are imperative. 3. Sports Bra
The Brooks Moving Comfort Hot Shot Sports Bra keeps the girls in check when running. Have you ever tried to run a mile with knockers bigger than a size A? Well, I’ve never done that either. I’ve had C Cup Bra Size since I was younger. My sister never had ta-tas until she had my niece. I on the other hand was not nearly as endowed as my teenager daughter is at her age but, certainly well more endowed than most teenagers. With that being said, ta-tas shouldn’t hit you in the face while running. The jiggle alone from an A cup would make it uncomfortable. It’s not comfortable, doesn’t feel good, and sucks. This bra keeps the ta-tas in place. Buying a quality sports bra is required. Don’t buy some cheap sports bra at Target.com and expect it to work. It won’t.
