As some of you are aware my beloved Colt passed away yesterday. He was an old soul but, he was like a child. We all miss him terribly. I expect him to howl when I walk in the door, to try and steal my food, to run in circles really fast when you get home because he’s excited to see you. I want him to sit pretty, shake and lay down and then look at me like WHERE’S MY TREAT WOMAN! I will love him and miss him forever.

He was really my best friend. He loved me unconditionally. Probably because I fed him, maybe because I let him my snuggie, maybe because I always bought him yogurt dog biscuits from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, or perhaps just because that’s what we do is love our animals and they love us.

I’m beyond heartbroken so I really don’t want to talk about it. I’m in mourning so please be patient with me on reviews and giveaways. I’m working on them as quickly as possible.

All that’s left is his name tag, his Sophie and his doggie bed. My son picked out his doggie bed and he loved it.

I don’t know what to do without Colt around. Ray misses him terribly too. In fact, he’s been the most upset about it besides me and my son. It’s just very sad to have an animal become part of your family and then to see them die.
Colt rest in peace big boy. Mama will love you forever.

it breaks my heart but i just wanted to say he was so beautiful! and he’s watching over your family from doggy heaven
Thank you Liz for caring, that means a lot to me.
New follower here from Bloggie Moms and I’m looking forward to looking around!
Oh, I’m so very sorry for your loss! He looks like he had such beautiful spirit. Our old girl is getting on in years and moving around an old lady. I’m already sad. Thank you so much for sharing.
