Disney’s Copper Creek Villas Review

I had the magical pleasure of staying for the first time at the new Disney’s Copper Creek Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and Villas this August 2017. The renovations surpassed my expectations as always.

These newly renovated villas are located within Disney’s Wilderness Lodge on the south side of the Lodge. The rooms have been renovated into studios, and one or two bedroom Villas.

We choose to stay in the two bedroom Villa with our two adult sons ages 18 and 19. The two bedroom Villa is spacious with two bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other two queen beds. In the middle of the Villa is a fully equipped kitchen and living area. There are two bathrooms, each adjacent to the bedrooms. A laundry room is also cleaverly placed behind a sliding door in the hall off the foyer.

Not only were the Disney’s Copper Creek Villas the perfect fit for our family, it was themed perfectly to represent the “Copper Creek Railroad ” theming that is the common vein throughout the newly imagined part of the Lodge. Blending both the mid-west lodges of Yellowstone and the railways that ran through the west in times gone by.

The interior blends several types of wooden accents, wood floors with inlaid designs and a modern flair to complete the story. The bright interior is comfortable and perfect for a family traveling with adults or a larger family. The space gave everyone room to themselves while keeping the family spending quality time together.

We ordered food from Dizzy Dolphin Delivery service and stocked the full size stainless steel refrigerator with breakfast food, drinks and snacks. This was a huge bonus for those early mornings before heading out for extra magic hours at the theme parks, and downtime after a fun morning experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort Parks.

I’m sold on these new Villas and will definitely put on our list of top Resorts for our family. The Grand Villas or Copper Creek Cabins nestled along the shores of BayLake are on our list to try on our next visit perhaps. They look amazing for a big family or a quiet retreat. Set apart from the Resort, they are large, each with their own screened in back porch with private hot tub. Fantastic floor plan and privacy from everything.

I loved every minute of our time spent at Disney’s Copper Creek Villas and hope if your looking for that special place to spend your next family vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll try this wilderness oasis!

Don’t forget a stop for libations or quick meal at the new Bay Lake front restaurant/bar,Geyser Point Bar and Grill, the bison burger was delicious!

I live between our Nation's Capital and North Carolina, love daisies, giraffes, purple, polka dots, Diet Mountain Dew, Doritos, and guns. Not necessarily in that order. I know that I’m very unoriginal and fit most cliches. I won’t try to deny it if you ask me. Ill-advised, indiscreet, and injudicious individuals infuriate I.
